Winter's back in Lima

This morning was the chiliest night of the last 3 months and today (until about one hour ago) the skies have been covered until the middle of the afternoon, with a light but cold wind blowing from the ocean.

This is winter in Lima! Now we're probably be cold at night for the next 6 months.

I've been talking to a taxi driver this morning which told me (taxi drivers are not always reliable, but they tend to give you general information that could not really be a lie either...) that Limenians tend to get upset at extreme weather conditions. He continued to define "extreme weather conditions" in the mind of a Limenian: 10°C is *extremely* cold, and 30°C is *extremely* hot... Funny how local culture can be upsetting sometimes! (for them, not me)
